Final Design
Below is a photograph of the finished design project, as well as a video of us testing the design. Some problems that we found was that the original hydraulic system that came with the chair has a much smaller height allowance than the linear actuator. After the chair hydraulic system gets to its maximum length, then the linear actuator starts pushing the base off of the ground at an angle. Also the linear actuator is not in the center of the chair, so the patient for this prototype has to be aware of his weight distribution.
